Questions about my physical therapy visit

How long will each appointment for treatment last?

Your initial visit will most often last a little over one hour. Please allow 75-90 minutes for your first visit since we will need to take care of some administrative paperwork.

At Cozy Physical Therapy, you will still get about 60 minutes of treatment with Dr. Cindy Zhang, DPT for successive follow up sessions. Often times, at other clinics, you may only be working with your physical therapist for about 15 to 30 minutes. With Dr. Cindy Zhang, DPT, she is committed to your health and your fitness goals.

How many visits will I need?

Without first seeing you for an initial evaluation, it is very difficult to determine specifically how many visits you will need. This can vary greatly based on your health goals and your current physical condition.

Do keep in mind that it will take some time for your body to heal, with normal tissue healing around 6-8 weeks and can take another few weeks for your body to return to normal conditioning. Your age, previous injuries, current health, diet are other factors which may impact your recovery time.
